IACS is a US 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and think tank committed to empowering local and international leaders to deal with crime and security issues worldwide.
The IACS aims to promote research, education, training, volunteership, and leadership. We strive to provide policy recommendations for leaders to deal with different types of threats at the national, regional, and international/global levels.
The issue-areas are broadly defined, including but not limited to: transnational threats, global and regional security, unconventional security, international criminal justice, organized crime, humanitarian, climate change, health, gender, poverty, migration, refugees, intelligence, homeland security, emergency management, law enforcement, and other international issues.
