The Kabin Studio

The Kabin Studio is a youth-driven creative hub in Knocknaheeny, Cork, empowering young people through rap, music, media and collaboration. Founded in 2012, The Kabin Studio delivers inclusive, community-based programmes in songwriting, rap, music production, podcasting, digital art and more, with a focus on creativity, confidence and connection. We support participants aged 8 to 80 from diverse and often marginalised backgrounds, providing free and subsidised access to high-quality workshops, mentoring, and performance opportunities. Our award-winning youth collective, Kabin Crew, has gained international attention, including a viral track The Spark, which went on to win the RTÉ Choice Music Prize and be long-listed for the Grammys. At our core is a commitment to hip hop culture, youth empowerment, Irish-language creativity, and strong community partnerships. We believe everyone should have the chance to be heard, and that creativity is a tool for wellbeing, connection, and change. 📍 Based in Knocknaheeny, Cork
