The Local Studio

theLOCALSTUDIO was started in 2018 in Bangalore by Madhurima Kordale, after her varied architecture and interior design experience in Bangalore and in New York City. The studio encompasses a committed work ethos with attention to detail and a focus on customization according to the client’s brand guidelines and values, requirements and budget. Upon graduating from R V School of Architecture in 2010, Madhurima worked at Balan Nambisan Architects in Bangalore for a few years where she honed her skills in high-end residential projects. A Masters program at Pratt, New York, further expanded her horizons, as also the commercial and residential projects she worked on at Carmen Lenzi Architect in New York City. Her diverse exposure in design and architecture has enhanced her ability to think out-of-the-box and offer insightful solutions. Undeterred by limits, her flexibility enables her to consider the smallest project to be an opportunity for design intervention and unfettered creativity.
