The Magna Project

The Magna Project is a charity working on tackling loneliness and isolation with people of all ages. We empower people to make connections in their local communities leading to improved health and wellbeing. We work with people of all ages providing trained and skilled volunteers providing companionship, friendships and opportunities for new activities and events. We also work with schools, colleges, universities, national and local organisations on education and research. Loneliness is totally fixable. It isn't the same as being alone. It can impact on people for a variety of reasons and through a range of circumstances and can lead to a number of emotional and physical symptoms. Combatting loneliness can also help in tackling dementia. The Magna Project is managed by people with many years of experience and knowledge in Social Care and Health. Our aim is to tackle loneliness and isolation on all fronts for all people.
