The Medicine Project is an initiative by AIESEC in the Netherlands. The Medicine Project offers medicine students the opportunity to do an observational internship in a hospital abroad. It is a volunteering experience of 6 to 8 weeks.
After your third year of medicine, we encourage you to step out of your comfort zone, and learn more about different healthcare systems, unfamiliar illnesses and different cultures! Up until now, student’s have gone to the African region, specifically to the countries Ghana, Kenya, Uganda and Mozambique.
