Themes+Projects gallery is located inside the 1275 building of the Minnesota Street Project in San Francisco's burgeoning Dogpatch arts district.
Our exhibition program showcases five exhibitions in a calendar year. Artists represented by Themes+Projects span the spectrum from emerging to mid-career. Their artwork may fall in the tradition of darkroom practices; venture into the realm of alternative or mixed media; or experiment with digital technology.
In addition to the exhibition programming, our publishing division, Modernbook Editions, has published photographic monographs for artists such as Tom Chambers, Fan Ho, Brigitte Carnochan, Fred Lyon, Geir Jordahl, among others.
