The organization once known as SPORE, The Society for Psychedelic Outreach Reform and Education, is being composted into the soil to feed The Mycoalition in fully becoming a community-driven ecosystem.
With the emerging psychedelic field poised to transform health care, education, countless industries, technology, and culture, there is a need to empower people to be able to ensure equitable progress is made towards collective thriving as we step into the future. In order for psychedelics to provide the greatest benefit to society, we have to cultivate reverent and responsible relationships, unified communities, and educated emergent strategies with and around psychedelics.
We exist to develop education, build community, and foster diverse leadership towards respecting, liberating, reclaiming, and responsibly integrating psychedelics into our society. Our work is in service to a vision of a world where all people are free to develop their own relationship to psychedelics without fear of criminal or civil penalties and with safe accessibility, equitable stewardship, and community support.
We say our M.O. is mycelial organizing. With education as the fundamental nexus of our work, we aim to bring diverse communities and stakeholders together to create psychedelic solutions that nurture a thriving ecosystem.
