NewsBlock is a decentralized information distributing platform that empowers each and every individual to help set public agenda, especially those with certain domain expertise, like knowledge about web3. Currently, we have been curating a daily NewsBlock NFT with web3 community members, mostly founders and investors in silicon valley. Very soon, we will launch a platform curating web3 related information, from but not limited to both very established media and emerging media outlets. The idea of NewsBlock is inspired by Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of bitcoin. When bitcoin was born, the title of a piece of news from The Times was recorded in the genesis block, making it an important part of history. What NewsBlock is trying to do is also writing the most important things happening in the crypto & web3 industry on blockchain, differently, it’s not some individuals like Satoshi himself or an editor from any news agency, but the web3 community members will decide what to be recorded.
