We are faced with shocking statistics: 4 out of 5 suicides are men, 73% of of adults who go missing are men, 95% of the prison population are men. Obsidian help young men find their path and purpose. The non-profit organisation is defining “the role of a man” in today’s modern society. While contemporary culture decouples men and their identity, Obsidian’s mission is to build men into their God-given roles and purpose as protectors, providers and compassionate leaders. We believe that it is vital for men to find and sharpen the necessary mindset, community, and tools to help themselves and their loved ones. Ultimately through such culture and practice can men nourish, safeguard, and guide their loved ones and community at large – leading to thriving growth and society.
