The P.A.M Project is the vision of social entrepreneur and maternal mental health advocate Alicia James. After years of volunteering, advocating for and mentoring mothers in crisis, Ms. James discovered a void in the advocacy for black mothers and their mental health. Ms. James' beliefs were confirmed from research conducted and informal mom to shared stories. She was motivated to launch her vision of black maternal mental health and overal well being. The vision of The P.A.M Project is to empower black mothers of through the advocacy and promotion of mental health and maternal wellness, provided resources while addressing stigma of mental illness in the balck community. It's focus is to impact the lives of black mothers who have lost their own voices, forgotten their personal goals and aspirations and promote the value of personal well-being within parental well-being. One mom at a time changing mindsets and transforming their lives on their own terms. Self preservation through self awareness.
