A movement to mimic Colorado's - Part 2 of the Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-101 et seq. Linked here - https://cdle.colorado.gov/equalpaytransparency Working should have the following legal rights: ⚖️ Requires ALL employers to include compensation in job postings (how much they will pay). ⚖️ Notify employees of promotional opportunities. ⚖️ Keep job description and wage rate records Why is this important? 📝 So you know how much a job is worth before you apply, this ensures that your time isn't wasted or the interviewers time. 📝 Helps reduce the pay inequality amongst everyone and fosters integrity in the hiring process. 📝 Will be notified of when promotions are due in the workplace, which will reduce nepotism and favouritism by giving everyone an equal chance to apply to an internal position ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Click on the linked to the website: www.thepaytransparencymovement.com Then click on the state or territory that you live in.
