The Redefine Openspace is a nonprofit, self-managed community hub in Thessaloniki, dedicated to students and young people. Our space is inclusive, welcoming individuals from all cultural, religious, and economic backgrounds. Here, students can enjoy a free cup of coffee, participate in diverse activities such as events, live music from local student bands at our tiny stage and even organised excursions in the mountains!
Moreover, there are other activities that occur in our place and people can join for free. These are psychology seminars, theatrical and musical teams.
Our place has a main space for socializing and a quieter place known as study room for focused work.
The concept is to be self-managed, but what does "self-managed" mean?
The idea is that everything is offered to the young people without a price. The workshops are also provided by volunteers.
But how is this possible?
We are trying to find the people who will share our vision for this town and support us financially.
Of course anyone who wants can contribute with a donation to sustain our mission!
