Founded in 1999 as a simple residential ministry in rural Vinton County, Ohio, The Refuge continues to grow and expand to serve not only the hundreds of men who come to our 5 locations across central Ohio, but their families, churches, and communities as well. The Refuge has had the honor of helping more than 5,000 people enter a brand new life - free from addiction and on their way to becoming better citizens, sons, husbands, and fathers.
The Refuge has seen tremendous growth as a hub of discipleship and transformation, and we trust God to continue to use us to “...bring Good News to the poor...to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free…”
