Revamped is a pioneering, sustainability-driven enterprise redefining textile waste management through a mobile thrift store and donation hub. Operating from a meticulously repurposed bus, our mobile model eliminates the logistical barriers associated with traditional donation systems, intercepting discarded yet valuable textiles directly from their point of disposal. By offering an accessible, community-centered solution, Revamped not only diverts waste from landfills but also ensures that high-quality secondhand goods remain within the local economy—bridging the gap between waste accumulation and resource accessibility. Complementing this initiative is our data-driven research arm, The Revamped Research Initiative, a cutting-edge analytical platform that systematically tracks textile waste distribution across varying economic landscapes. This initiative allows us to identify, map, and address economic disparities in textile waste generation, ensuring that Revamped’s impact is targeted toward communities most susceptible to textile overaccumulation and underutilization. By leveraging real-time data, we optimize collection efforts, enhance redistribution efficiency, and contribute to a broader understanding of how textile waste patterns correlate with socioeconomic factors.
