In 1994, a small group of Calgary adjusters, executives and brokers from the insurance industry launched The Jim Sinclair Charity Golf Tournament. Now celebrating our 24th anniversary, The Sinclair remains Alberta‛s only insurance industry fundraising event of its kind. The tournament was named in recognition of retired Guardian Insurance Senior Vice President, Jim Sinclair, who made significant contributions to the insurance industry across Canada, during his distinguished 40 year career.
Jim continues to act as the “patron saint“ of The Sinclair and this event exemplifies his words, “The industry has been very good to many people and those of us who can, simply have a responsibility to give back to our community.”
