Sri Lanka - Canada Business Council

Sri Lanka Canada Business Council (SLCBC) was inaugurated in 1991 and functions under Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC), celebrates 31 years of doing business with Canada and Sri Lanka. Its primary objectives are to promote investment and bilateral trade, to exchange trade and investment information with relevant institutions in Canada, to encourage the setting up of joint ventures and to serve as a recognized representative of business sector interests in Sri Lanka in matters concerning business relationship with Canada. The SLCBC also serves to promote tourism between Sri Lanka and Canada, to promote exports from Sri Lanka to Canada and to conduct seminars, workshops, B2B and B2G networking and exclusive advisory services with the Trade and Commercial sectors. The Patron of the Council is the High Commissioner of Canada for Sri Lanka.
