Essentially, The Soft Movement is an organization aimed at changing people's relationship with change. It believes in bringing about change through real, on ground action at the grass- root level instead of adding to the information overload by shouting loud slogans of change. It strives to slowly transition the world from "Noise-makers to Change-makers".
The brainchild of a young changemaker from Patna with an idea, The Soft Movement has now spread to over 20 cities since 2020, in India and abroad, through the dedication and efforts of Dwishojoyee Bannerjee (founder), who has managed to build an ever- growing community of like-minded individuals.
The Soft Move continues to enforce its ideology of creating change through subtle, action-oriented efforts. It believes that change happens throughout a generation, an idea isn't embodied in a day, and soft moves are the key to making this happen.
