Thetaco (Traders) Ltd, was established in 1992, to distribute Balay electrical appliances in Cyprus and the Middle East. Some years later Balay S.A – the renowned Spanish manufacturer with 40% market share in the Iberian markets, was acquired by Bosch/Siemens/Hausgeräte and the Middle East project was terminated. Thetaco (Traders) Ltd is responsible for the distribution of prime European brands namely: Morphy Richards, Remington, Dyson, Leifheit, Haverland, Beurer, Russell Hobbs, Varta and others and established a dominant position in the importation, distribution and support of home appliances in the Cyprus market. Thetaco (Traders) Ltd established a wide network of clients with presence in all categories of shops ie. Chains, independent shops, supermarkets, DIY, department stores etc. Thetaco is taking pride of being the first company in Cyprus to expand its distribution network to include all categories of shops and therefore develop a holistic approach to the distributors of electric appliances
