Vested® is a mindset, methodology, business model and movement for highly-collaborative, win-win relationships. Vested is based on award-winning research conducted by the University of Tennessee’s Center for Executive Education and funded by the U.S. Air Force. The UT researchers studied some of the world’s most successful business relationships—relationships based on true collaboration that achieved amazing, sometimes even considered impossible, results. They discovered that these highly successful relationships had a distinct mindset that promoted purposeful collaboration with the strategic intent to innovate, create value and mutually reward success. From this research, they created the Vested business model and its practitioner-friendly tools that enable companies and their suppliers to create successful, highly collaborative relationships of their own. Vested relationships spark innovation by enabling business partners to create value that didn’t exist before—for both parities.
