The Wake Europe Project is a not for profit company devoted to inform and promote debate on the challenges faced by Europeans, through the use of impact film documentaries combine with debates in schools, universities and public spaces. The Wake Europe Project's mission is to restore Europe's core civic values by inspiring citizen activism and engagement. By getting Europeans thinking, talking and acting, we hope to revive the European project from the grassroots. In 2019 we founded and ran the first Wake Up Europe Film Festival, an innovative documentary film festival combining great impact documentaries with high level debates focussing on the European shared challenges. It run in Turin and simultaneously in 10 other European cities. In 2024 The Wake Up Europe Festival is running a series of Pop Up Wake Up Europe Film screenings and debates focussed on the existential challenge posed by the Climate crisis in Florence, Venice, Forli', Cagliari and across Europe.
