The Wellness Project NPO

The Wellness Project is a mental health awareness organization that aims to raise awareness and promote positive mental health. We at the Wellness Project heavily believe in the power of peer support, empowerment, and advocacy. The Wellness Project's goal is to educate and encourage everyone to reach out for help when needed, as well as to reduce gaps in accessibility to mental health resources. We focus on a wide variety of topics, such as suicide prevention, BIPOC youth resources, sexual violence, and stigma surrounding mental illness. We promote a peer to peer approach where individuals can seek mental health aid through their peers. Sometimes, lending a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen is all it takes.
