The Wishwall Foundation is a non-profit organization and social community founded by Simonetta Lein in 2015. It helps social impact wishes to come true by The WISHWALL in every city and The WISHWALL online. - The WISHWALL in every city: Walls typically represent division and pain, but The WISHWALL is the vessel that creates a symbol of peace and unity in your community. It's a physical wall where people gather for a two-day event and write their wishes. It brings together community commitment, kindness and peace. After the event, The Wishwall Foundation's Board of Directors will decide on inspiring wish with social impact for the community to grant. The WISHWALL will then become a permanent mural, an artistic attraction in the city and a symbol of communion. The first WISHWALL is in Philadelphia. With the collaboration of the city, sponsors, and donors, we granted a very heartfelt wish to help find answers to a fatal hit and run. We put up a billboard with a $15,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. We also renamed a Philadelphia street in the victim’s memory. Because of the billboard, her killer was caught. The family, although forever heartbroken over the loss of their family member, had their wish of finding the killer granted. The next cities will be Washington D.C., Sierra Vista and the military base of Fort Huachuca, Arizona and Milan, Italy. The Wishwall Foundation aims to bring The WISHWALLS in every city: #buildthewishwall - The WISHWALL online is an online community where people can express their wishes and where the Foundation inspires them to help each other according to the pay it forward philosophy. The Wishwall Foundation's Board of Directors will decide on inspiring and meaninful wish to grant 3 times a year. The Wishwall Foundation collaborates with other non-profit groups that promote social integration and the defense of human rights.
