Think Energy Partners and it's affiliated companies (“Think Energy”), established in 2003, is an investment and management company that develops, finances and operates world class energy assets, with specific interest in gas, solar and water. The partnership has established a documented and highly successful track record for owning, managing and developing energy assets in the United States of America and India. In the past Think Energy has developed/managed 3 gas power projects in USA aggregating to 651 MW and a 218 MW gas power project in India. Think Energy has had success of working as co-investors with large institutional energy investors like Trust Company of the West, Rolls Royce Power, Solarpack Corporation Tecnologica and EverStream Capital Management. Think Energy has already commissioned a portfolio of 6 solar PV assets aggregating to 104 MW in Telangana. These projects are located in Nagarkurnool, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Wanaparthy, Medak and Siddipet. Think Energy is currently building a portfolio of 23.39 MW of rooftop projects over government building which was allocated last year under the SECI tender. Think Energy has recently won 45 MW of solar projects through the recent KREDL tender to be built in Karnataka. Think is currently developing a number of projects in multiple states, both ground mounted and rooftop, power to be sold either to government or private consumers. Along with its capital partner, EverStream Capital, Think Energy intends to develop, finance and build 2000 MW of solar PV projects in the next 3 years. Although, Think Energy will continue to develop utility scale projects, there is growing focus on distributed generation and storage space. With offices in Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore (with Nagpur and Kolkata to be added shortly) and a growing team strength, Think Energy is ideally placed to take leadership position in the distributed generation and storage space.
