ThinkWoven is a waste design consultancy founded by architect Clare Miflin in 2018, after leading the development of the Zero Waste Design Guidelines. We look at material flows within the built environment and see how linear material flows (take-make-waste) can be transformed into circular loops, and how urban systems can be woven into ecosystems. We consider the waste types created in buildings and public spaces daily, as well as building material waste created by the processes of construction, deconstruction and renovation.
ThinkWoven consults with design teams, municipalities and developers to ensure buildings and public spaces are designed to reduce and better manage waste, and to achieve TRUE zero waste certification.
