ThirdWell Commodities is a farmer-centric agricultural commodity trading business with a strategic focus on improving sustainable livelihoods and living standards of our farmers and communities through our ThirdWell S.A.F.E strategy. ThirdWell Commodities is a certified “Inclusive Business” by the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) Inclusive Business Secretariat. Underpinned by a business philosophy of social responsiveness and social impact, the company’s strategic objective is to become a platform for creating sustainable livelihood and long term value for farming households and communities. This strategic objective is an expression of our fundamental belief that the well-being of the FARMER is critical to our Sustainability as a viable commodity trading business, hence our tagline 'The FARMER is our Business' Our reach currently surpasses over 100 communities in the Bono, Bono East, and Northern regions of Ghana. Our medium term objective is to actively engage 10,000 farmers in these communities by the end of June 2030 through our ThirdWell Initiatives namely, ThirdWell Aggregation Program (TAP), ThirdWell Input Financing Scheme (TWIFS); and ThirdWell Farmer Training Program(FTP). By the end of 2030, the ThirdWell Trading Corridor (i.e. starting in Bono, through Bono East and ending in the Northern region) will guarantee purchasing access to over 50,000MT of agricultural produce per annum, comprising Soya Beans; Raw Cashew Nuts; Shea Nuts; and Rice.
