Thomas Consulting was founded in Wellington, Shropshire in 1979, by core personnel from Telford Development Corporation. The Partnership has flourished over the quarter century since then, establishing satellite offices in Shrewsbury, Lancaster, Chorley, London, and Liverpool by gaining a reputation for quality services in Structural and Civil Engineering.
The practice has since expanded the range of services to include site appraisal/contamination assessments, site remediation design, traffic assessments, flood risk assessments and have extensive experience of undertaking engineering designs of timber framed structures. Thomas Consulting have also provided crucial services relating to expert witness cases.
We have been involved in a considerable range of projects from refurbishment and underpinning through to large-scale housing developments and multi-million pound commercial premises. We also offer a comprehensive portfolio of backup and specialist support services. We can provide a "one stop shop" service for many clients, supplying engineering consultancy and design services for the entire scheme; highways, drainage and structures.
