Black Pages South: The Mission of Black Pages South is to encourage, support, and facilitate economic empowerment of the African American community through the development of a strategic local business network, educational initiatives, and communication ventures. Through actualization of this mission, SC Black Pages & Jacksonville First Coast Black Pages reach all segments of the African American Community, including – but not limited to – youth, retirees, and the working class. Black Expo South: The minority business exposition known as the “Black Expo”, the one-day event has been held in Columbia SC, Charleston SC., Jacksonville FL , Greenville SC. The event attracts over 800 exhibitors and 85,000 visitors. This concept was taken from Black Expo USA which was a national event that traveled the country and no longer exists. “Black Expos” are successfully held in cities such as Chicago, New York, and Indianapolis. Black Expo is the largest event of its kind directly targeting the African-American community. Black Expo operates under Black Pages International's non-profit status whose mission is to educate, enlighten, and empower the community.
