Thor Salmon is establishing a land-based salmon farm near Thorlakshofn, South Iceland. Our unique location offers clean, high-quality seawater naturally filtered through lava at optimal temperature for salmon farming.
Utilizing hybrid flow-through technology we aim for a production capacity of 20,000 tonnes per year. The farm will be developed in four phases starting with a smolt facility and followed by a 5,000-tonnes on-growing facility.
