Thoughtful Natives

Thoughtful Natives is an architecture firm based in Kerala, India, that specializes in designing and building projects that are context-sensitive, creative, and sustainable. The firm is led by Ar. Thoufil Salim, an urban design graduate from School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, and Ar. Noora Khadeeja, a passionate architect with a keen eye for detail. The firm has a team of architects, engineers, and designers who share the same vision and enthusiasm for creating innovative spaces. The firm’s project philosophy is to consider the context as the key in approaching every and any project. We try to explore and experiment with form, material, and space, while keeping their designs rooted to the climatic, topographic, cultural, and behavioral parameters of the site and the users. We aim to create spaces that are functional, aesthetic, and environmentally friendly, while also reflecting the identity and culture of the people who inhabit them.
