_threadsafe is a multicultural collective of computational artists based in London, employing a multidisciplinary approach that includes installation, video, printmaking, and performance. The members are graduates of the Computational Arts (MA/MFA) programme at Goldsmiths University.
Founded in 2023, the collective held their inaugural exhibition, “Dissection,” at Hypha Studios in Stratford in January 2024. They followed this with their second show, “AGORA: A Place of Gathering,” at ArtHub Studios in Deptford in April 2024. Currently, they are starting their residency in Hypha Studios Paddington investigating themes of Topology. This research will carry on for two years, with residencies based in the UK, Portugal, Greece, and Peru.
_threadsafe members have exhibited at notable venues including the V&A Museum, Messums Wiltshire, Barbican Centre, Onassis Stegi in Athens, Rich Mix, Peckham Digital, The Outernet, The Beams, and Callao Monumental in Lima.
