ThresholdARC Studios was established in 2008 by Gideon van der Schyff, registered as a Senior Architectural Technologist. We have a different outlook to buildings and with this it provides us with a unique sense of style and design. Since the establishment of the company we have had the opportunity to work on a number of different building types and styles. From your average South African Tuscan housing styles to your high tech influential buildings. Gideon has had the opportunity to be involved in the building services industry for the past 13 years. This has given him the capacity to not just function as a designer, but to also morph into a Building Services Architect. This role allows him to look at the building as a living entity and what the building needs to survive. "Like all living things, so are our buildings. Treat it badly and it will cost you money, treat it well and it will provide you shelter." Gideon van der Schyff 2022 ThresholdARC Studios have done over 200 building inspections and in Gideon's Courier as a Building Services Architect he has done inspections on over 500 building thus far. These building types range from Residential developments, Commercial Buildings, Hospitals, Retail Outlets, Warehouse and Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Agricultural, Banking Institutions and so much more. Gideon van der Schyff is the Lead Senior Architectural Technologist, Project Manger, Building Inspector and Founder and Chief of the Company. Christiaan Kidson is his right hand man assisting to the day to day running of the business. Christiaan is also running a team of 11 drawing personal that assist companies in the following services: - Architectural Designs and Other Related - 3D Renderings - Area Scheduling and Calculations - Building Inspections - Real Estate Latent and Patent Defects Reports - Project Pre-Costing - Arbitration and Mediation - Principal Agents - Property and Project Management - Project Funding - Block House Design and Installation
