Thrive Club

Thrive is a community currently at Addis Ababa University, that provides mentorship for female students . Our program offers trainings in both technical and essential soft skills with a unique mentorship network that pairs second and third year students with successful senior students. Mentors, who are volunteers, help their mentees navigate their challenges and make informed decisions as well as avoid some common mistakes, with the ultimate goal of helping them succeed at school, their internships and their career. The initiative aims to create a supportive community for women in STEM, where they are currently a minority.
