Thrive Medical is a multi-disciplinary health and wellbeing service that provides personalised evidence-based care to Broken Hill and the surrounding community in the far west NSW.
Established in 2011, we have grown to provide a full suite of services, many of which historically required travel to a capital city. Our mission is to enable our community to get the same health outcomes as those living in urban centres and support our community to thrive.
Our team of highly skilled professionals provide friendly and approachable support; delivered with warmth, compassion and respect. We support clients with complex and simple needs improve their quality of life through curative and preventative therapies.
Services Include:
General Medical: Our GP clinic team of Doctors and Nurses provide a full suite of diagnostic, treatment and care services. Specialists in routine care, women and men’s health, medicals (pre-employment and general), minor procedures, wound care and chronic disease management, we also partner with specialists to deliver focused services.
Imaging: Thrive partners with Benson Radiology to deliver imaging and intervention procedures. We invest in the latest technology to provide ultrasounds, X-Rays, CT scans, mammograms and bone density scanning. In May 2021 we launched the Far West’s first MRI service.
Allied Health: Supporting the community to improve life quality through personalised therapy and interventions, our allied health services include psychology, counselling, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and audiology. Thrive is NDIS registered, and the team collaborate to deliver holistic outcomes.
Gym: Thrive has a large gym, team of personal trainers and nutritionists. We provide tailored programs for clients with diverse goals including increasing mobility following injury or disability, exercising to improve health outcomes or maintaining peak fitness. Thrives gym is a fun, supportive and non-judgmental environment.
