I train first-responders to respond with clarity and recover with ease, allowing them to feel pride at work and be fully present at home. Services include Yoga For First Responders® (YFFR) mat classes and inservices, mental fitness virtual bootcamp, and Reiki for neuro reset. I am a certified instructor of YFFR®, which is a non-profit that ensures the mental fitness benefits of yoga are presented to first responders in a job-specific, culturally-informed way. I am a PQ® coach, which is a framework designed by Shirzad Chamine to make mindfulness practices realistic and impactful in the middle of stressful everyday life. It teaches the identification of destructive thoughts, quickly regulating the nervous system, and shifting to a productive mindset. I am a Reiki master with a science-based approach. A soothing environment and light touch is used to deactivate a held stress response and shift to rest and digest mode. Mirror neurons cause the recipient’s nervous system to match the practitioner's, leading to feelings of deep relaxation and stress release for the recipient.
