THRIVE Support Services (SS) is an agency on a mission to achieve health equity for Black communities through direct support advocacy and building collective community power. THRIVE SS facilitates linkage to culturally competent medical and non-medical service providers for people living with HIV/AIDS in the Metropolitan Atlanta area. Join us on this journey as we continue to create a lasting impact and foster meaningful connections within our community. Founded on May 4, 2015, THRIVE SS is a dynamic 501(c)(3) non-profit on a bold mission: to transform the lives of Black individuals living with HIV in the Metropolitan Atlanta area. We’re not just supporting a community—we’re revolutionizing it. Our groundbreaking “Undetectables Model” blends cutting-edge online support with in-person guidance and community engagement to confront the unique challenges faced by Black individuals living with HIV. Our transformative focus areas include: 🔎 Achieving “Undetectable” Status Empowering individuals to reach and maintain viral suppression. 🗣️ Navigating Disclosure Offering crucial support in the sensitive process of sharing one’s HIV status. ⚙️ Meeting Essential Needs Addressing critical issues such as housing, employment, and medical care. 👥 Building Strong Networks Creating resilient support systems with those who understand and share similar cultural experiences.
