RECENT ACQUISITIONS
2011 - Townsend Design was acquired by the Thuasne Group. Founded in 1984 Townsend is one of the orthopedic industry's most respected manufacturers of ligament and OA knee braces, specialty lower extremity orthoses and rehabilitation mobility devices.
2016 -
January 2016 Thuasne became an orthopaedic medical device multi-specialist in the United States acquiring Quinn Medical, who make the universal sized spine brace - The Sleeq.
October 2016 - Thuasne acquire Orthotic Composites Ltd, who produce and market a range of ankle orthoses made from carbon materials.
