The company was founded by Simon Smith, a videogames professional with over 15 years experience in the industry at Codemasters, Blitz Games, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE), and Reloaded Productions.
At Blitz Games, Simon designed the original Burger King xbox/xbox360 advergames for agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky. The games sold over 3 million copies, won a Clio advertising award, and were credited as contributing to a 40% increase in profits that quarter.
