Thunderbees

ThunderBees is a software consultancy and development company with several operational innovations that make it very different from other enterprises in this field. The business model utilizes a North American core of highly skilled software experts (“brains”) who interact with and manage outsourced developers in their offices in Brazil and India (“doers”). The first significant difference is in the approach to software development projects. A client’s requirement is assessed and goes into one of two streams: · Stream 1: Regular development project that ends with delivery and handover · Stream 2: Projects with potential to be enhanced to higher levels of functionality over and above the client’s requirement. These can become products in their own right. The second difference is that clients for Stream 2 projects are invited to partner with Thunderbees, own a part of the enhanced product, and participate in its future. This business model is extremely innovative. It has been piloted successfully and is the key differentiator that ThunderBees brings to the marketplace.
