As Thunderbird is transitioning to develop the leaders of the 4th Industrial Revolution, students are being required to develop more than the soft skills that Thunderbird is renowned for. They are needing to develop more hard skills. The Thunderbird Data and Analytics Club (TDNA) was established in Fall 2019 to help address this challenge. TDNA is focused on helping students identify and gain the skills needed for the 4th IR. We do this through a 4 prong approach:
- Increase student understanding of Data and Analytics through tutoring and identifying extracurricular courses to develop professional certifications.
- Improve student understanding of Data and Analytic careers through company visits and offsite tours.
- Give access to real-world data and case studies through networking with related businesses and alumni for on-campus case style experiences.
- Promote professional development through networking with alumni and other professionals that are experts in the Data and Analytics space.
