Thunderbolt Jointing came together as a company made by a jointer, for jointers. George O’Kane started out as a jointers mate in East London in 2006. He got himself trained to be a jointer in Nottingham at the young age of 21 and moved down to Hampshire, where he has established himself in the industry as someone that takes great pride in his work and is supportive of others learning the trade. Now with a total of 15 years’ experience under his belt, George has taken the next step in being able to supply work from jointers that he holds to his own high standards.
Where did the name ThunderBolt Jointing come from?
As a new company entering the industry, it was important that the name of the company be hard-hitting, memorable, and put a smile on people’s faces at its uniqueness. It represents the best of jointers with the ultimate ability to take that energy and manipulate it like the ancient Jointing Gods we look up to.
