TIDE | De-escalation training for healthcare workers using VR and AI
TIDE helps reduce violence in Australia’s healthcare system by empowering frontline workers with the skills and confidence to de-escalate situations involving patients displaying a complex trauma response.
What we do:
Founded by nurse and educator Misty Carey, TIDE delivers face-to-face de-escalation training with Frameless Interactive Lernsuite platform’s Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. Our five-hour trauma-informed course combines evidence-based learning with immersive, real-world simulations to safely build skills in recognising and responding to aggression.
