We help to secure a wild future for wild tigers in Bandhavgarh, India, by funding:
- anti-poaching patrols in the national park
- new waterholes for tigers and their prey, extending their territory and reducing contact and conflict with humans
- education for local people about how to stay safe and live alongside wild tigers.
In 2015, Tigers4Ever established a first of its kind Buffer Zone poaching patrol to address the fact that 90-95% of all wild tiger deaths due to poaching or poisoning occur in the buffer forests. Since establishing the Buffer Zone Poaching Patrols there has been a 96% reduction in wild tiger deaths due to poaching or poisoning in Bandhavgarh
