We envision a human world healthy, just and in balance with nature. Our mission is to employ design to help heal the world. “Tee•koon olahm”, Hebrew for "repairing the world" is our namesake, compass, and north star. "Tikkun olam" (תיקון עולם) is a concept in Judaism that emphasizes the responsibility to work towards social justice, equality, and the betterment of society. Tikun Collective is a design studio working at multiple scales and intersections. We believe design is a vehicle for economic, social and environmental justice. We offer regenerative design services focused on the small (materials), medium (buildings), and large (systems) aspects of new or existing development, and for any project type. Our clients include non-profits, underserved communities, developers, companies and more. We overlap the building, architecture, urban design, systems thinking, deep ecology spheres. The concept and practice of repairing the world through the intersection of design, ecology and activism guides our design philosophy.
