Tilaknagar Distilleries & Industries Ltd. was promoted as a 100 percent subsidiary of The Maharashtra Sugar Mills Ltd. and Tilaknagar Distilleries & Industries Ltd were merged to form Tilaknagar Industries Ltd. on August 6, 1993.
