Tilted Bench was a live streaming show focused on coaches and their work.
My two goals with the show were to create space for coaches to form a community by sharing their knowledge and experience and to gather a collection of that knowledge for myself and others to fall back on.
While the primary goals of community and catalogued knowledge were intentional outcomes of the project, Tilted Bench found two other beneficial opportunities:
1. The coaches and I engaged with comments during the live stream. It was a forum for an active Q&A with coaches in specific fields.
2. Since each stream was recorded and replayable, it became content that can be accessed at any time. I also select certain clips to repurpose.
I started Tilted Bench out of desire to reconnect with my own love of helping people through counseling. While I studied the subject in school, I never went into practice. Tilted Bench is one outgrowth of me making my way back to that path.
