Unlike traditional investment firms, we don’t aim for an exit — our intention is to hold great businesses indefinitely. We’re solving a looming crisis hiding in plain sight: SME succession. Take Singapore: SMEs employ over 70% of the workforce, yet only a quarter have a formal succession plan. As the population aged 65+ is set to double — reaching nearly a third of the country over the next two decades — thousands of high-quality, cash-generating businesses risk disappearing each year. Not for lack of value, but for lack of a viable next chapter. Timah was built to meet this moment. We acquire great SMEs from retiring owners and serve as a permanent, values-driven home to grow their legacies over the next generation. In parallel, we’re developing the region's next wave of SME leaders through the region’s first CEO Succession Program — a structured path for emerging operators to one day lead these businesses.
