Often parents and carers are forced to significantly reduce their working hours or stop work all together. On top of this, the associated costs of raising children in this situation are over £500 per month more than they would otherwise be. Families who would most benefit from a holiday are not only priced out one but practically less likely to find a suitable property.
At Time Away we source donated self-catering accommodation in order to offer families who need a break, the chance to holiday together, giving them time with each other. Time to engage, talk, have fun. Time which is non-existent during the demands of the day to day caring for children in this situation.
