Beijing Times Films Co. Ltd was jointly funded in 2012, spreading over Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Los Angeles. Times Film Group is based in Century City, Los Angeles. In 2016, the company gained one billion of venture investment from Lakala Pictures and underwent successful group reform, formally becoming a cultural industry group integrated with investment, producing, Intellectual Property (IP) development, film production, promotion and theatrical distribution, artists management, and product placement business. The developing IP includes: Teddy Boy Series, Wang Shuo’s latest work “The Strange Case of An Immortal Man”, the typical IP of Night Culture “the continuation of Beijing 9 to 5”, hot novel IP “My Gay Lover” and Teenage IP Girl’s Generation, etc.
