You do not need to spend multiple hundreds of dollars on a fancy CNC metal case to get great sound and comfort for your custom keyboard, you can achieve this level of quality through careful selection of components and thoughtful mods.
Each Board receives a Custom Silicon pour or a layer of Butyl-backed Aluminum Foil to kill the resonance of the case, from there we add PE, Neoprene or Memory foam depending on the sound profile (Tocky, Marble-y, Silent or Clicky). Then the PCB and plate are prepared with layers of Painter’s tape and custom cut neoprene foam, we add a layer of PE foam on top of the PCB when needed, then we clip, lube and dampen the Stabilizers. Top brand switches, often lubed, are added, then we complete with a selection of thick and beautiful keycaps that maximize the sound profile and capture attention.
