Timisoara Life&Bytes

Timisoara Life&Bytes is a grass-roots platform for regional ecosystem development at the convergence of life science and information technologies, through cross-sectoral networking, facilitation of national and international collaborations, biotech entrepreneurship support and talent discovery and development. Initiated as a BioCoderDojo Timisoara project for high school non-formal education, funded by local government bodies, Timisoara Life&Bytes expanded to other categories of individual and institutional stakeholders, becoming a wide ecosystem development platform, organizing or contributing to organizing networking events, workshops, hackathons, business incubation programs, connecting the local community with major regional and global initiatives aiming to transform engineered biology in one of the most important tools and approaches for building a better, cleaner, more efficient future from an individual to a societal and planetary scale. We personally act and work towards atractng others, involved life science, programming, entrepreners, business development practitioners, creators, educators, communicators with a complete trust in our capacity to build new smart specializations for Timisoara's economy, high growth potential startups and lead as a city in the quest for human and planetary health!
